Welcome to emPOWer, a dynamic network of executive women dedicated to networking, socializing, mutual support, and professional growth. Since our founding in September 2020, emPOWer has cultivated a space/community where executive women can meet peers, make connections, and flourish professionally and personally.

We are committed to empowering our members through professional growth and personal camaraderie, confidentiality, accountability, friendship, and respect. Our guidelines are designed to ensure a productive, supportive, and enriching experience for all members.

1.  Professional Achievement: Membership is open to executive women who have demonstrated significant achievement in their careers. Prospective members should have at least ten years of professional experience, showcasing leadership, innovation, and resilience in their respective fields.
2. Commitment to Participation: Members are expected to actively participate in our annual events, including book clubs, volunteer activities, happy hours, and the annual retreat. Engagement is key to fostering a strong, supportive community.
3. Contribution to Community: Members should be willing to share their knowledge, experiences, and insights to uplift and support fellow members. Whether through mentoring, networking, or collaborative projects, contributing to the emPOWer community enhances the value we all gain.

• Camaraderie: We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where members can form lasting connections and friendships. Members are encouraged to support one another, both professionally and personally.
• Confidentiality: Trust is the foundation of our community. Members must respect the confidentiality of shared information, ensuring a safe space for open and honest dialogue.
• Accountability: Members are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, both within and outside of emPOWer activities. We hold ourselves and each other accountable for our actions and commitments.
• Respect: We are dedicated to fostering a culture of mutual respect. Discrimination, harassment, or any behavior that undermines the dignity of any member is strictly prohibited.
• Friendship: Beyond professional networking, emPOWer values the deep, meaningful friendships that emerge from our shared experiences and interests. We encourage members to celebrate each other's successes and provide support during challenges.

Prospective members must submit an application form, detailing their professional achievements and motivations for joining. Applications are reviewed by our membership committee to ensure alignment with our values and goals.

Membership is renewed annually, contingent upon the member's active participation and adherence to our guidelines. Members may choose to leave emPOWer at any time; however, we encourage open communication regarding any concerns or suggestions for improvement. The organization reserves the right to terminate membership if a member consistently fails to meet the guidelines or acts in a manner that is detrimental to the community's values.
